North Korea is said to have confirmed cases but rejected by state media

North Korea has confirmed 7 coronavirus virus cases, according to the exclusive report by Liberty Korea Post. The Post reported that the infection cases are workers returned from Shangdong and Qingdao in China. However, the North’s Cabinet newspaper, Minju Choson, said in an editorial on Thursday that there have been no confirmed infections. The are also unconfirmed reports that suspected cases are reported in North Korea and people are quarantined. Meanwhile, North Korea is preparing to examine drinking water sources, such as rivers and lakes, to make sure that the new coronavirus won’t flow into the country, state media reported Thursday.
